FLEX TIPS
Declutter Before You Pack
Go through your belongings and get rid of items you no longer need or want. This will make packing easier and reduce the amount of stuff you have to move.
Use the Right Supplies
Invest in good quality moving boxes, packing tape, bubble wrap, and other packing materials to protect your belongings.
Pack Essentials Separately
Pack a separate box or suitcase with essential items you’ll need immediately after moving, such as toiletries, a change of clothes, and important documents.
Protect Fragile Items
Use bubble wrap, packing paper, or clothes to wrap fragile items individually and pack them in sturdy boxes. Label these boxes as "Fragile" to ensure they’re handled with care.
Notify Important Parties
Don’t forget to notify important parties of your move, such as utility companies, banks, and postal services. Also, update your address with the post office and anyone else who sends you mail.
Take Photos
Before disassembling electronics or furniture, take photos of how they’re set up. This will make it easier to put them back together at your new place.
